Prayer for non-muslims for guidance

1. Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.
2. God Almighty please consider my tension, pain, illness and sufferings over last several years as a means for expiation of my sins.
3. Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear, grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us. You are our Protector.
4. Our Lord! We have sinned against ourselves, and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost
5. Our Lord! I seek Your forgiveness for all the sins and I repent’
6. God Almighty I am confused and lost please guide me and soften my heart and illuminate my soul with the light of truth.
7. Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate from the truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Your grace. Verily You are the Giver of bounties without measure.
8. Our Lord! please give me understanding and knowledge to differentiate between truth and falsehood
9. Our Lord! please help me get my heart inclined towards the truth and righteousness and those who are on the truth; please make my heart averse to those who have your wrath and are misguided.
10. Our Lord ! Please prevent the devil from extinguishing the light of knowledge and guidance in my heart and O Lord! please prevent the devil from making me fall into the darkness of doubt and confusion
11. Our Lord! I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being over powered by men.’
12. Our Lord! I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship but You.
13. Our Lord! Place us not among the people who have been guilty of evildoing.
14. Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Your presence and dispose of our affairs for us in the right way
15. Our Lord! In You we have placed our trust, and to You do we turn in repentance, for unto You is the end of all journeys

1)      It is futile exercise
2)      Who knows if there is god or not and what will happen after death
3)      You suffered a lot why god did not remove your suffering ? what wrong you have done ?
4)      I am praying for so long nothing is happening
5)      Other Bad thoughts
Also Abstain from doing anything immoral like lying, abusing, fighting etc.
