A quiet place to read, attached to tools you actually use
Oasis of Knowledge began as the companion journal to Hisnul Muslim — the Fortress of the Muslim — and grew alongside it into the reading home for five apps. Everything published here is written by the same people who build them.
The premise is simple. Most Muslims do not need more content; they need a small number of reliable things, well referenced, that they can return to. So we write fewer articles than we could, we cite everything, and we end each piece with something specific to do.

How we work
Sourced, or not published
Every supplication carries its reference and every narration its grading. Where a report is weak, we say so rather than quietly leaving it out or quietly leaving it in.
Disagreement stays visible
Where scholars have differed for centuries, we present the positions and their evidence instead of flattening them into a single answer that sounds more confident than the sources allow.
Written to be acted on
Each article ends with something specific to do this week. Knowledge that changes nothing about tomorrow has a name in the tradition, and it is not a flattering one.
No sensationalism
This is particularly a commitment on the End of Times material, where the popular literature runs far ahead of what the texts actually say.

A note on corrections
We get things wrong. When we do, we correct the article rather than quietly deleting it, and we say what changed. If you spot an error in a reference, a grading, a translation or a transliteration, write to us — corrections from readers have improved more of this archive than we would like to admit.
