Which Husband Will a Muslim Woman Join in Heaven?
An overview of Islamic eschatology concerning women who were married to multiple men in life and which husband they will be with in the afterlife.
Question
If a Muslim woman had multiple husbands, which one will she be with in heaven?
Answer
The opinion which scholars have taken as the most correct is the Hadeeth which is attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) (marfoo’):
“Any woman whose husband dies and she marries someone else after him, she will be with the last of her husbands.” This was classed as saheeh by Al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) in Saheeh Al-Jaami’, 2704, and in Al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1281.
Further detailed discussion can be found here but i don’t vouch for everything mentioned in that website.
